How our pricing works
Every price on this page is a starting point. What you actually pay comes down to three things: the service you book, the size of your dog, and the condition of the coat on the day.
The service, not just the size
Two dogs of the same size can cost very different amounts. A bath and blow-dry is a straightforward job. Hand stripping and breed scissoring are done by hand, take considerably longer, and need a stylist trained in that particular coat, so they price accordingly.
Size bands are a guide
Sizes range from X-Small right through to XX-Large, and the bands used vary from one service to the next. The breed guide is there to help you work out roughly where your dog sits, not to lock in a final price.
The condition of the coat
A matted, knotted or long neglected coat takes longer to work through whatever the service, and that is reflected in the price. Every dog is assessed on arrival and we will talk it through with you before we start.

This is a guide to help you work out roughly where your dog sits. It is not a fixed price list. The service you book and the condition of the coat both affect the final price, and the size bands used vary from one service to the next.

XX Large
Standard Poodles are listed under both Large and Extra Large, because the breed varies enough that either band can apply. We will confirm which one on arrival.
Cross breeds and dogs not listed here are sized on the day. If you are not sure, call the salon on (07) 5575 2200 and we will place your dog for you.
Bath and Blow Dry
Wash, blow-dry, nail trimming and ear cleaning. Additional fees may apply for long haired breeds.
Tidy Groom
Bits, bath and groom. No length off the body, just a wash, brush out, face tidy, nail trimming, feet scissoring and hygiene area trim. Includes bath, blow-dry, nail trimming, tidy and ear cleaning.
Short Clip (All Over)
Also known as a summer clip. The clip stays at a constant length across the entire body with a styled face. Includes bath, blow-dry, brush-out, comb through, nail trimming and ear cleaning.
Style Cut / Breed Groom
Covers Breed Standard, Asian Fusion and Teddy Clips. Scissoring of the body and face and shaping as per your requests. Includes bath, blow-dry, brush-out, nail trimming, ear cleaning and full body styling with a styled face.
Hand Stripping
Removes dead hair from the root, preserving the natural texture and colour of wire-coated breeds. Essential for breeds such as Border Terriers, Schnauzers and Irish Wolfhounds, and it keeps the coat healthy and coarse.
Demoult (De-Shed)
Priced on the size of your dog and the condition of the coat. Includes wash, blow-dry, brush-out, comb-through, nail trimming, ear cleaning and de-shed of excess undercoat.

Grooming runs in two sessions each day. You drop your dog at the start of the session and collect at the end, which gives us the time to do the job properly without rushing your dog through it.
For special circumstances or express grooming, an extra fee may apply.
